You pay a commission only on paid bookings. - Every new account gets 0% commission for its first 90 days, on any plan, automatically. - Billing per paid booking is the plan's commission percentage **or** its minimum fee, whichever is greater — never both. - Customers can optionally cover the commission at checkout (pass-on mode). - No Baluu fees on external bookings (bookings you record yourself rather than take through Baluu checkout). - No credit card required to start, no setup fees, no long-term contracts. The free Standard plan bills a simple 3% commission on paid bookings; Pro and Growth bill a reduced 2%. Each plan has a small minimum fee per booking (50p on Standard, 40p on Pro, 30p on Growth), and every new account gets 90 days at 0% commission from the moment you sign up. Upgrading lowers your rate and buys more AI capacity, more newsletter email credits, MCP/API access, and on Growth a custom domain and custom email domain included free. Embedding checkout on your own website is free on every plan, including Standard. ### What's the 90-day, 0% commission intro offer? Every new Baluu account starts with 90 days of 0% Baluu commission automatically — no code needed, on any plan. Stripe's own card processing still applies during your intro. After 90 days you move to your plan's standard rate — 3% on Standard, 2% on Pro and Growth. ### Do paid plans lower my commission? Yes. Standard pays 3% per paid booking; Pro and Growth pay a reduced 2%, alongside lower minimum fees (40p and 30p instead of 50p). There's nothing hidden beyond that — the rates you see here are exactly what's billed. ### What do I actually get for upgrading? Both paid plans drop your commission from 3% to 2% and lower your minimum fee. On top of that, Pro (£49/month) gives you 200 AI chatbot messages and 1,000 newsletter emails a month, plus MCP/API access — a custom domain and email domain are available as an add-on. Growth (£99/month) raises that to 500 messages and 2,500 newsletter emails a month, and includes a custom domain and custom email domain at no extra cost — our biggest allowance across the board. ### Do I need a paid plan to embed checkout on my own website? No. Every plan, including the free Standard tier, can embed Baluu checkout on your own website. ### What is MCP / API access? MCP (Model Context Protocol) and REST API access let your own tools, website, or AI agents read and act on your Baluu bookings, availability and customers programmatically — included on Pro and Growth, and available as an optional add-on on Standard. ### What is the minimum fee? There's a small minimum per paid booking so that very low-value bookings still cover processing and delivery costs: 50p on Standard, 40p on Pro, 30p on Growth. On a normally-priced booking your plan's percentage (3% on Standard, 2% on Pro and Growth) applies as usual. ### Can I switch plans or cancel? Yes — no setup fees and no long-term contracts. Upgrade, downgrade or cancel a paid plan at any time and carry on free on Standard, with every feature still available. ### Do I need a flat-fee or zero-commission plan for high volume?
