Hello everyone, and Happy New Year!

As outlined in our roadmap, our primary focus for Q1 2025 is to improve email deliverability rates and overhaul our bundles/packs to reduce bugs and work seamlessly with other booking options (e.g., appointments or group requests).

New Features

Update Past Session Availability - Partners can now update the availability of past sessions.

Edit External Attendees for Past Sessions - You can now edit external attendees’ details for previously held sessions.

Improved Online Meeting Link Field - The online meeting link field is now a textarea, making it easier to view and copy the full link.

Add HTML Tags to Baluu Website - Partners can insert HTML tags into the head and body of their Baluu website, enabling the use of Google Tag Manager or similar tools.

Email Deliverability Notes

Ensuring emails reach your customers is one of our top priorities. Many factors—such as blocked domains, full inboxes, or mail providers flagging unfamiliar senders—can impact deliverability. Since email is an older technology with varied standards, it can be unpredictable. Nonetheless, here are the steps we're taking to improve deliverability:

Dedicated IP

We purchased a new IP address for sending emails, which helps build a strong sender reputation over time.

No More Click-Tracking

We’ve stopped using click-tracking to reduce the risk of being flagged as spam. While this means we won’t know if customers open emails, it significantly improves the likelihood of landing in the inbox.

Domain Segmentation

We’ve split our email domains to protect overall email reputation:

DMARC & BIMI

Our DMARC policy is fully implemented, and we’re monitoring it through an external auditor. We’re also planning to apply for BIMI to further boost our sender reputation.

No “No-Reply” Addresses

We’re retiring all “no-reply” addresses. These often signal one-way communication and can trigger spam filters.

Future Enhancements

Moving to this new provider sets the stage for offering customisable email templates in 2025, empowering you to design and send personalised messages to your customers.
